LUCKY

As I'm toolin' down the road this morning on my way to work. Oh, it was a beautiful morning too! The Sun was rising, clear blue sky and 50 plus degrees. Had my favorite tunes on...anyway it seems some where in front of me somebody didn't have a their load secured and dropped off a nice sized chunk of wood. That sucker was right in the middle of my lane. Yeah, I didn't see it 'til I hit it. Scared the living you know what out of me. As I drove over this monster it sounded like it was going to come through the floor. As I looked to my left I saw one hubcap sail off into no mans land. LUCKY no one was following me. After pulling off the road and assessing the damages I loaded the chunk(s) in my vehicle. LUCKY we have a fireplace. So, I have two damaged hubcaps and two bent wheels. LUCKY I know someone at www.hubcaphaven.com.
Got my replacement hubcaps and wheels this afternoon and back on the road again...LUCKY me.

Wheels

Growing up back in the '60's and '70's we did not have many wheel styles or options to choose from for our muscle cars or street rods. We called them mag wheels back then. The most popular sizes that were available back then came in 14 inch, 15 inch and if you could dish out the big bucks, 16 inch. These days it seems there is no limit to wheel manufacturers making aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy, one piece, two piece, BBS, or billets from a block of aluminum stock. These days we have many, many, many styles and sizes to choose from too. Anywhere from 14 inch to 26 inch to fit most any car or truck. I couldn't imagine bolting on a set of 26er's on my '57 Chevy Bel Air...It just wouldn't seem right.

Most of us that own and drive so called regular cars, trucks, and SUV's, who may have a damaged or cracked wheel from hitting a curb or the dreadful pothole. www.hubcaphaven.com carries OEM ( original equipment manufacture ) wheels for all makes and models. Our wheels are reconditioned to OEM specifications. From Acura Wheels to Volvo Wheels . Most often you pay half or less than you would if you purchased a new wheel from your local dealer. Our friendly staff has over 30 plus years knowledge in the auto industry. We will be happy to assist you.

The Easter Bunny

Every year at this time I anticipate the arrival of spring weather. The Sun feels warmer, the grass is greening up, kids are playing outdoors again. Then in April I can't wait for the arrival of the Easter Bunny and all the treats he brings. Just thinking of our children's Easter baskets filled with all those chocolate bunnies, marshmallow peeps and jelly beans. I'm wondering, how can I sneak some of those goodies without anyone noticing??? Instead of being sneaky about it, I just made a basket for myself with MY name on it. Problem solved. Now, if you are traveling on our US roads this holiday weekend, please be safe. And if you happen upon an Easter Bunny crossing your path and you run off the road or bump the curb trying to avoid hitting the bunny and damage your hubcaps or wheels by doing so www.hubcaphaven.com will be happy to assist you in finding that replacement hubcap or wheel that is damaged or lost. Most of all remember, those bunny's are fast.

Good Old Minnesota Weather

Just a week ago it was 70 plus degrees warm. A nice spring teaser for us winter weather blues Minnesotans. Since that nice day we have expierenced rain, no sun, sleet and more rain for what seemed like a life time. Then yesterday it had to snow to let us know winter can still sneak up from behind and bite. It wasn't a lot of snow, just enough to make the roads, bridges and on ramps quite slippery. This morning it is 17 degrees COLD. Besides the crazy weather we also have potholes the size of Buicks, which can do damage to most vehicle's wheels and hubcaps. After watching the local news programs, we at www.hubcaphaven.com will be busy packing hubcaps and wheels for all winter weather customers who may have lost or damaged their wheels or hubcaps. Please drive safe.

Determining The Size Of Hubcaps

Determining the size of hubcaps you need for your vehicle is very easy. Simply look at the side of your tire. For example, it should appear similar to this. P205/75R15. The last two numbers (15) are the size hubcap you will need. Please, do not measure the hubcap.
